Workshops
Pamela Wildermuth began instructing private classes in 1974.  She discontinued her classes when she moved to Bear Valley Springs in 2003, but now holds 2 workshops each year, one in May and one in October.  She also teaches privately upon demand.

The October 14 - 16, 2011 workshop was a popular success, with 6 participants.  The primary focus of the workshop was drawing techniques in graphite - Painting With Pencil - with an emphasis on learning to better "see" what one is "looking at."  However, participants interested in other media were welcome, too, and two students also painted in oil, one working on a piece in progress and another starting his first oil painting.

The sessions began at 10 a.m. each day with a break for lunch, followed by an afternoon session that finished at 5 p.m.  Dates and details for the Spring 2012 workshop will be posted soon.

Bear Valley Springs is a rural gated community with lots of equines and photo opportunities.  There are several nice hotels in nearby Tehachapi (about 8 miles from Pamela's home), and a couple of wonderful wine tasting rooms - greatly enjoyed by past participants.  Lunch is not included in the workshop price, but usually ranges between $5 - $15, at the BVS club facilities.

Contact Pamela from the "Contact" page for a workshop reservation and a gate pass.  No deposit is necessary, and please don't hesitate to ask questions.
